How many Vessel Races and Sub-races are there?

There are currently three types of vessels: The INU, The NEKO, and The BURU. Each of these vessel-types has four sub-races, each with its unique skills and looks.

INU
INUs belong to the First Fleet - "Sipherian Surge". A canine vessel race that was the first to be grown by AITA and the first in their era to explore the Blocks of Sipheria. Siphers who choose the form of the INU tend to be noble and brave, versatile warriors, and intrepid explorers.

INU Sub-Races
CANIS
Canis are perhaps the most versatile of the INU family. These avatars have a balanced mix of strengths, with no glaring weaknesses. In terms of appearance, they look the most like the species of canine from which their race takes its name.

CYBORG
The CYBORGs are the successful mechanical augmentations on the original INU by the Mad Scientists. Cyborgs are one of the modified variants of the CANIS via cybernetics. These forms are techno-organic hybrids, more machine than INU in many cases. As a result, they have dramatically increased strength and speed, as well as built-in tools that can be used in a variety of scenarios. However, the CYBORG subtype is also the most susceptible to damage, as they lack the natural regenerative capacity of other types, requiring visiting repair shops to heal.

BIOZ
BIOZ is a successful biological experiment on the original INU by the Mad Scientists. BIOZ are one of the modified variants of the CANIS type. The concept of bio-engineering a digital life-form seems like an impossible one, but the fidelity of AITA’s simulation held true to a molecule level. Hence, it was possible to apply the principles of genetic modification to vessels.

COSMIC
COSMIC is a rare meta-occurrence as the fleet enters crypto verse. A small selection of INUs was transformed into Cosmic beings with never before seen powers. Considered the rarest variant in the INU family, they are an INU Sub-race in possession of exotic psionic abilities. These vessels are feared and respected, living proof that the world AITA created is far more complex and mysterious than anyone anticipated. The COSMIC INU have access to telekinetic and temporal abilities that can be trained and improved. The exact science behind these abilities is still being studied and is not yet fully understood. Nonetheless, the COSMIC INU is unquestionably a force to be reckoned with, and they are certain to be a key force in shaping the future of Sipher.


NEKO
The NEKOs belong to the Second Fleet - "Sipherian Flash". These cat-like vessels make lithe and graceful avatars for Siphers who choose a more dexterous and precise approach. NEKO vessels are known for their agility and speed. Siphers who choose NEKO vessels are known to be daredevils with a thirst for adventure, always capable of slipping out of the jaws of danger at the very last second.

NEKO Sub-Races
FELIS
FELIS make up the majority of the Neko race, those chosen were sent under the banner of the Sipherian Flash, to reinforce the 1st Fleet in combat and exploration. All Felis possess strong and unique capabilities for flashy and high-speed combat, though the origin of their ability to survive is still an enigma. Some even say that they've got nine lives.

SYNTHETIC
SYNTHETICs are full amalgamations of flesh and machine, created to leverage the highest capabilities hi-tech machinery has to offer. Possessing heightened levels of intellect through their ability of rapid autonomous learning and physical resistance has given them a massive technological advantage in the field.

PHASEWALKER
PHASEWALKERs are the results of inter-dimensional portal experimentations by the Mad Scientists. However their failure to stabilize the coordinates trapped unlucky ones in unknown dimensions. Only a few made it back from “the other worlds” to the Sipherian Flash fleet, having their beings transformed with the ability to phase back and forth between alternate dimensions.

CRYSTALIS
A rare wave of cosmic meteors crashed into the Sipherian Flash, piercing some members with unknown energy shards, altering their DNAs into tetrahedrally bonded structures. The few chance survivors acquired hardened adamantine body parts that are highly resistant to physical and electrical forces, whilst granting them the ability to generate and manipulate crystal elements of similar nature.


BURU
The BURU are bull-like vessels. They are notable for their enhanced strength and durability. Capable of awesome physical feats, these vessels are also able to carry more equipment and operate heavy weaponry with ease.

BURU Sub-Races
INFERNO 
The INFERNO is the rarest of the BURU Sub-races. Forged of unbreakable obsidian sheathed beneath layers and layers of scorching volcanic magma, these Siphers are living furnaces of nature who wield fire and stone like the twin horns of catastrophe, smelting entire armies, and cities into nothing more than smoke and ash. Don’t mistake their mastery over igneous elements for stability, the INFERNO is fury-made flesh.

MECHA
The MECHA subtype is a tech organic variant of the Buru, borne out of the race’s unending thirst to elevate their combat prowess. These Siphers have rebuilt their bodies with cutting-edge, and in some cases banned augmentations - from wrist-mounted weapons to internal cold fusion reactors. Living engines of war, the Mecha Buru can never stop fighting - to do so would risk overloading their own over-clocked neuro-circuitry.

ANCIENT
The ANCIENT is an enigmatic techno-mystic sub-variant of the Buru race. Unlike their grounded and domineering cousins, they are a class of tribal hunter-gatherers who pay deep reverence to traditions and rituals. Their shamanic powers are tapped from sacred totems, talismans carved deep with arcane markings and symbols, intelligible to few. Still, with respect for the past comes wisdom to pioneer the future, these modern ancients won’t hesitate to use bleeding-edge weapons and armor to chart their destinies.

TAURUS
The TAURUS subtype is the most common variant of the Buru. But their limitless stamina and valor in battle are the stuff of legends. A Taurus brawler is immediately identifiable on any battlefield - both by their brightly-colored power armor and the symphony of destruction they leave in their wake. TAURUS Siphers have made their way to countless worlds of Sipheria, and they are always ready to rumble.
